My name is Gareth Edwards and I am a landscape & garden designer based near the Old Severn Bridge, overlooking the Severn Estuary in South Gloucestershire. My work covers Bristol and the wider region; Somerset, Gloucestershire & the Cotswolds, The Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean and across the Wales border into Monmouthshire”


Having worked in designed and natural landscapes and gardens for most of his long career, Gareth brings a unique perspective to the design, development and maintenance of gardens and landscapes, with a deep understanding of landscapes and habitats.

Combining the sometimes divided disciplines of horticulture and design is a particular skill of Gareth’s, rooted in many years experience of both disciplines. An eye-catching rarity but part of an over-arching design, Gareth has a extensive and expert knowledge of garden design and horticulture.


A Pre-Registered member of the Society of Garden Designers Gareth’s work as a designer brings together his understanding of habitat and ecology with a specialist knowledge of the history of garden design. Tudor knot gardens, turn of the century Arts & Crafts, new perennial planting.
