Walled gardens, kitchen gardens, orchards, fruit, veg & cut flowers. Growing fruit, vegetables and flowers for cutting is enthusiastically embraced by Gareth and his team. Gareth has designed kitchen gardens both from scratch and worked on the restoration of derelict and overgrown walled gardens. Current projects include designing a new glasshouse, paths and borders for a burgeoning cut flower business in the Wye Valley and designing a new kitchen garden for a derelict Victorian walled garden on the outskirts of Bristol.

I am a gardener as much as I am a garden designer so “long after the designer has gone” is a phrase I like returning to. The regular garden maintenance Gareth & his garden team provide can establish a productive kitchen garden; utility and beauty being the grandiose aim.

Proponents of No Dig, (or at least a version of it!), Traditional Permaculture and Organic Gardening, vegetable growing, producing year-round fruit and vegetables for the table can be a bit of a rollercoaster but the team does have a proven track record in maintaining productive and ornamental kitchen gardens.
